This vintage wall-hanging plate is a striking piece of Polish folk-inspired home decor, made in 1971 by a crafts production facility in Poznań, Poland. Created during the PRL era (Polish People's Republic), the plate is crafted from a lightweight composite material with raised relief detailing and hand-painted accents.

The center features a charming rural scene of two men in conversation by a cottage, surrounded by panels of embossed floral motifs and vivid red cabochons. A rare survivor of 1970s Polish home aesthetics, complete with its original factory label and production stamp from December 1971.
