British Airways Concorde Hiduminium Fuselage Cufflinks

Discover these unique cufflinks crafted from an unflown panel of Hiduminium RR58 previously owned by British Airways, originally manufactured as replacement material for their Concorde fleet. Designed to address the wear and tear of supersonic flight, these panels were engineered to withstand the extreme speeds and temperatures unique to Concorde's operation, where frequent maintenance and repairs were essential.

The panel, identified by part number E/13/A/14, was reserved exclusively for Concorde. Had the aircraft continued its service, this material would likely have been used as a replacement part for the iconic fleet.

Hiduminium RR58, an advanced aluminium alloy, was specifically developed for its lightweight strength and durability under high-stress conditions. Its composition includes 93.5% aluminium, 2.5% copper, 1.5% magnesium, 1.2% nickel, 1.0% iron, 0.2% silicon, and 0.1% titanium, making it ideally suited to the demands of supersonic travel.

Each cufflink measures 1.5 cm x 1.5 cm, and the boxes they come in are 7.7 cm x 6.2 cm x 2.9 cm.
