Rare and original antique carbide/acetylen lamp by Phares Besnard, model “Les Vestales”, made in France around 1900–1920. This beautifully aged lamp features a spherical black-painted metal body with a copper nameplate, lens door, and internal reflector. Numbered No. 1885, it's a collectible item with strong historical and aesthetic value.
This type of lamp was typically mounted on horse-drawn carriages, early motor vehicles, or bicycles. Today, it serves as an exceptional piece of industrial decor, automotive history, or early 20th-century lighting design.
